The Rector of Linnaeus University is Professor Stephen Hwang. The University’s Pro-rectors are Professor Bo Bergbäck and Professor Lena Fritzén.The schools of Linnaeus University offer degree programmes and courses as well as pursuing research, developmental work and co-operative outreach initiatives involving the surrounding community. Linnaeus University also has a police training academy and an institute for the in-service training of journalists, the FOJO Media Institute.

The central university administrative departments are responsible for service, senior management and coordination of collective and overarching questions relating to the University as a whole. The library functions as a support for the University’s undergraduate programmes and courses, research and PhD research training.
