This course focuses on Third World history in the 20th century up until today. We introduce the anti-colonial resistance movement as well as attempts to establish a Third World identity and -unity. We also address a number of important developmental problems connected to social, economic and political changes in development countries. We will also problemise concepts such as "development countries" and "Third World".
