The aim of The Document Academy is to create an interdisciplinary space for experimental and critical research on documents in a wide sense, drawing on traditions and experiences around the world. It originated as a co-sponsored effort by The Program of Documentation Studies, University of Tromsø, Norway and the School of Information, University of California, Berkeley. For 2011, the Linnaeus University Department of Library and Information Science will be hosting the meeting.
