Combining "Facts": Artifacts and Ecofacts in Archaeology
This session focus on artifacts (Material Culture), and ecofacts (mainly bones), and how archaeology and osteology can be used in close collaboration to illuminate earlier, as well as, recently excavated archaeological remains to create new hypotheses based on the cross-combination of the disciplines. It may be quite clear that this combination of the disciplines working parallel at the same archaeological site strongly complement each other and create combined interpretative effects.
We welcome papers that have this multidisciplinary focus.
