Post Convention Tour

As the summer draws to a close, it´s harvest time on Öland. The season culminates in Öland Harvest Festival on 30/9 - 3/10, Sweden´s largest harvest festival. This year the festival is being held for the 14th time. The symbol of the festival is the pumpkin. Pumpkins share the limelight with the harvest of Öland’s onions, carrots, potatoes, brown beans and lots more besides. The festival also involves culture, art and spectacle. From Friday morning to Sunday night the entire island is celebrating.

We will take part in this event, conduct a tour on the island and visit some of the exhibitors and performers. Taste all kinds of delicacies from Öland! You will have the opportunity to taste food at almost every stop. We will take a longer break at restaurants for a meal or two. Bring some Swedish kronor for shopping and eating. Don´t forget to wear warm clothes; it will be chilly (or even cold) and sometimes it rains (good boots are recommended). The night will be very dark but so exciting! The Art Night show you all kind of arts in a new view. The Art Night will provide you with the opportunity of viewing all kinds of art in a new – an unforgettable experience!
