Research and Development
The Maritime Academy conducts research and development in the field of operational activities within Swedish and international shipping.
The area covers the study of technology, work organization and safety, as well as shipping conditions and consequences. This includes the relationship between economy, legislation and regulations on the one hand, and environmental influence and public confidence in the shipping industry on the other.
