Trends of globalization, internationalisation and migration have resulted in a continuously increasing need to establish and develop relationships between people from different cultures. Research in the area of subcultures indicates the need to understand the dynamics of social systems where intercultural communication skills are essential.

The objective of the course is to provide a basic theoretical framework as well as practical skills for effective intercultural communication.
