The course introduces the fundamentals of glass chemistry and technology for a wide range of products. It examines art and domestic glass, container glass, fiber glass, flat glass and special glasses. After having studied this course the participants will have gained an understanding of the basic concepts of glass technology, the characteristics of the material glass and the processes, products and applications for commercial glass.
