Inspiration Day – Artistic Research

Artistic research - what can it be and what collaborations can we create at Linnaeus University?

On November 30, 2023, you are very welcome to an inspiration day on artistic research and teaching at Linnaeus University. The inspiration day is a university-wide initiative to highlight the importance of artistic research, artistic teaching and artistic work. One goal of the day is to draw the attention of all staff and students to the importance and possibilities of artistic research and teaching. Another goal of the day is to open up for cross-border collaborations at Lnu that include artistic research.

Closed conference

The day is open to all interested staff and students at Lnu. Pre-registration is required, but participation is free of charge.

A working group from the research and teaching subjects at Lnu that conduct artistically oriented research and teaching has developed the program content, and you can find the program in its entirety below.

The inspiration day takes place in the M-house at Linnaeus University's campus in Växjö. You will then take part in inspiring lectures, performance and poster presentations from both employees and students at the university who contribute with an overview of the research landscape and examples from their artistic research and practice.

Register for the day, come and be inspired, and take the opportunity to think about how collaborations with artistic researchers and practicing artists could work together with your own research or teaching.

The event is in Swedish and English.

A warm welcome!

The working group includes:
Bodil Petersson, Dan Alkenäs, Zeenath Hasan, Cecilia Davidsson and Åsa Ståhl.

Questions welcome at fkh.dekan@lnu.se

Registration for Inspiration Day – Artistic Research is closed!
