This course introduces key issues and perspectives of the research process by focusing on theories of science and methodology. It includes an introduction to the research process and research methods in Business Administration as well as an introduction to different basic scientific epistemological assumptions about knowledge production. Further, the module focuses on the implications for practical research depending on basic assumptions about knowledge production that are chosen by the student. Other topics in the module discuss the formulation of a research question, evaluation criteria, empirical material, different ways to analyse and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and research ethics.

Kalmar

In Kalmar, Linnaeus University is located in the city centre. Universitetskajen is entirely newly-built and located just next to the sea. Here you become part of a creative knowledge environment.
