The development of a more sustainable built environment requires a wide-spread use of resource-efficient innovations. In order to design effective intervention measures, it is important to understand the process by which innovations are developed and spread in the society, and what affects potential users' decisions. This course includes various theories on diffusion of innovations and their applications to the built environment.
