Energy and Climate-Efficient Construction

The course provides knowledge of the energy and material flows in the built environment. The energy analysis include energy use in the life cycle of a building, and various fossil fuel and biomass-based energy systems. The material flow focuses on the environmental impacts of different structural material (eg, wood, concrete, metals) used in the production of buildings.


Linnaeus University’s campus is located roughly 15 minutes with bicycle from the city centre.
