The course ‘European Union Politics’ has its focus on the origins, the functioning, and the current developments of the European Union (EU). It is designed to introduce students to the European integration process, the political system of the EU, the legal framework of the EU, the EU as foreign policy maker at regional and global level, the EU policies, and the EU as multi-level system including both the member states and global level. Moreover, current developments, such as the economic crisis, Brexit, the asylum crisis, etc. will be analysed and discussed.


Linnaeus University’s campus is located roughly 15 minutes with bicycle from the city centre.
