German grammar and translation

Grammar: In this course, the students develop knowledge of written and spoken German, and learn to produce as correct and varied language as possible. German language structure and developments in modern German are discussed, and linguistic theories are introduced.

Translation: In this course the students practise translating Swedish texts into German. German morphology, syntax, phraseology and vocabulary are discussed.

Grammatik: Die Studierenden erwerben Kenntnisse über die deutsche geschriebene und gesprochene Sprache und lernen, eine möglichst korrekte und variierte Sprache zu produzieren. Im Kurs werden Entwicklungstendenzen im heutigen Deutsch aufgegriffen und sprachwissenschaftliche Fragestellungen diskutiert. Darüber hinaus wird eine Einführung in sprachwissenschaftliche Theorien gegeben.

Übersetzung: Im Kurs wird geübt, schwedische Texte ins Deutsche zu übersetzen. Deutsche Morphologie, Syntax, Phrasen und Vokabular werden aufgegriffen.
