International Economics and Finance
7.5 creditsThe course covers analysis of international financial markets and institutions with a focus on the practical aspects, opportunities and challenges faced by multinational companies in terms of international investment and foreign exchange rates. The course consists of three main topics including (i) foundations of international financial management, i.e., international monetary systems, and exchange rates (ii) international financial markets, i.e., bond, equity, futures, options, and swaps, (iii) foreign exchange risk management as well as foreign direct investment.
