International Human Rights Law

The course will cover the sources and nature of international legal rules, the associated legal processes and the relationship of these international rules to individuals, organizations and states. Ideological and cultural perspectives will be discussed, as well as sources of violation, the United Nations, regional and national systems, women’s rights and the role of non-governmental organizations.
