Introduction to International Law

7.5 credits

The course includes an introduction to the system of norms, rules, institutions and procedures of international law that regulates interaction among states, and between states and individuals.

Moreover, we shall examine the nature and sources of international law, the relationship between international law and domestic law, the role of international organizations, the methods of resolving international disputes, state responsibility, jurisdiction of the states, and other selective substantive areas of international law, including the laws governing the use of force, environmental law and the international trade law.
