Linear algebra and Fourier series

7.5 credits

Linear algebra is the branch of mathematics concerned with the study of linear spaces, linear maps, and systems of linear equations. It is a fundamental part of modern mathematics and it has extensive applications in science, since nonlinear models often can be approximated by linear ones. The main subjects of the course are linear spaces, linear maps, determinants, diagonalization of linear maps and quadratic forms.
