Peace and Development Studies III

30 credits

This course aims to deepen the students' knowledge regarding central issues within peace and development. Special attention is given to the ability to connect different theoretial points of departure to analysis of actual situations, that in turn can affect the conditions for structural change, social conflicts and global security. The first module focuses on some of the central issues of the field; global development and security. The second module highlights the methodological conditions for peace and development research, from a multilevel perspective. At the end of the course, students write their Bachelor's thesis (15 credits).
