Quantitative methods in Social Science
7.5 credits
The course discusses central elements in the research process with emphasis on quantitative methods: problem definition, research design and choice of method, data acquisition, analysis methods and presentation of results. The course aims at having a general view and depth in these respects.
The course includes the following main components:
Fundamentals of statistical analysis
Univariate and bivariate analysis
Multivariate analysis
Sampling and significance
