Tourism Studies I - Global Tourism Production System
15 creditsThe course aims to provide analytical perspectives on tourism as a social phenomenon and as a business. The point of departure is that tourism is an industry without a product, or rather, an industry where the product often develops in the relationship between companies, between companies and public resources and in the relationship between the tourist and the tourism company. This relational perspective places special demands on how tourism is analysed and the course reviews this, but the aim is also for the students to be involved in this perspective and to develop their own analysis in a minor project.
