Natural Sciences Didactics

Third-cycle programme.

The post-graduate programme in Chemistry leads to a licentiate degree or a doctorate.

The purpose of the programme is for students to acquire knowledge within a defined field of Natural Sciences Didactics and partly within the scientific methodology of relevance to the subject area.


The training is based on original research under supervision and courses, which constitute 25% of the total study. Licentiate degree comprises 120 credits and doctorate comprises 240 credits. Current research projects are in the fields of Socio-Scientific Issues, Teachers' development of their practice, Representations and Learning, ICT and Learning, Conceptual Learning, Values ​​and gender. The research environment is associated with LicFontD, a national licentiate graduate school for teachers, and has established partnerships with schools in the region.
