Change of systems – new Ladok

Ladok3 is the name of the project that works to develop the next generation’s study administrative systems support for universities and university colleges in Sweden. The new systems support will replace the Ladok system that is used today. Linnaeus University will implement a new Ladok in December 2017.

Why are we changing system?

The existing system (Ladok) has been in place since the early 90s and is technically out-of-date. The new system is to be technically sustainable in the long term. The system will be web-based and provide better and more secure service to students and doctoral students.

Why will I not be able to use the systems?

Between November 27 and December 10, the new system (Ladok) will be launched. This involves technical configuration of various study administrative sister systems and the verification of data. The systems must also be tested and quality-assured before they are taken into use. It is estimated that the systems will be in full use again on December 11.
