Tuition fees
Tuition fees at Linnaeus University are regulated through local regulations.
- Studies commencing in the spring semester of 2026 or later are regulated by Local regulations for tuition fees.
- Studies commencing in the autumn semester of 2025 or earlier, are regulated by the previously applicable local regulations Local regulations and terms and conditions for application fees and tuition fees at Linnaeus University, provided the student follows the normal pace of study, and only until 31 December 2028 at the latest.

Tuition fee amounts
The tuition fees at Linnaeus University are divided into categories. Course fees are determined on an annual basis but will apply to the whole period of study for which the student has been admitted.
From the autumn semester of 2026 the following tuition fees are valid:
Category A:
Humanities/Social Sciences/Law
SEK* 125,000 per academic year
Category B:
Natural sciences/Engineering/Education/Pharmacy and Miscellaneous
SEK* 175,000 per academic year
Category C:
Nursing
SEK* 185,000 per academic year
Category D:
Design/Music
SEK* 320,000 per academic year
Category E:
Medicine/Sports science
SEK* 220,000 per academic year

Refund of tuition fees
To request a refund, please submit the form Request for refund of tuition fees.
The decision about the refund of tuition fees is made by the head of the International Office at Linnaeus University, after individual assessment of each application.

Please note that deferment of studies is a separate application process handled by the Admission Office.
