Do you know that you can access the library’s online resources 24 hours a day? The only thing you need is to log-in with your Lnu account. We also have generous opening hours every day of the week. At the library, there is always helpful staff here to assist you. Welcome to the library to study alone or in a group, in our open environments or in our quiet reading rooms.

Students' workplace - the Library

The university library is your workplace: here you can find group study rooms, computer study desks, computer labs, quiet study rooms and cafes. The library also hosts the university’s Academic Studies Workshop.

A great deal of library recources

The library offers all students, researchers and staff at Linnaeus University a wide range of databases, thousands of journals and over 360 000 books.

Printing, copying and scanning

Students at Linnaeus University can print, copy and scan on the public printers available at the University Library. Payment of the prints is done by payment service PayEx that you connect to your student account.

Microfilm readers

The University Library has three microfilm readers, one in Kalmar and two in Växjö. The readers can be booked in TimeEdit. Printing costs SEK 2 for A3 and SEK 1 for A4. You may use the microfilm readers without booking but bookings will always have priority.

Storage lockers

Storage lockers

If you need to store your belongings during the day, storage lockers are available at the University Library. The lockers cannot be used for long term storage but must be emptied and the keys returned before closing time.

Kalmar

In Kalmar there are lockers outside the quiet reading room / quiet computer room on the ground floor in the southern part of the library. You can borrow locker keys at the information desk.

Växjö

In Växjö there are lockers in the basement (level 0) opposite the computer rooms as well as on the ground floor next to the restrooms. The keys are in the locks and you deposit SEK 10 to use a locker.
