If you're studying civil engineering or building technology at the university, you have free access to the reference work AMA Online from Svensk byggtjänst. AMA stands for General Material and Work Description. It is used to create technical specifications and tender documents. By reading the headings and codes in AMA, contractors understand what needs to be done and how it should be carried out.

To get free access to AMA Online as a student for 10 months:

  1. Create a student account using your university email domain @student.lnu.se via the link: https://konto.byggtjanst.se/student

  2. Log in with your student account at https://portal.byggtjanst.se/ where you can select which AMA volumes you need for your studies.
