Choose Web of Science Core Collection under Search in.
Choose Arts & Humanities Citation Index under Editions.
How to search for studies about a specific work of art
In Web of Science you can do a search for “Cited references” on an art piece to see who has studied a certain work of art in the past.
Choose “Cited references” located above the search bar.
Write the artist’s name, for instance “Picasso P*”, in the text field Cited Author. Similarly, in the text field Cited Work, write the name of the artwork, for example “Guernica”.
