LnuOpen

Do you want to start a journal or publish a conference publication? As a researcher at Linnaeus University, you can publish and manage journals and conference publications in LnuOpen, free of charge. The publications will be freely available and searchable in, for example, Google. LnuOpen is based on the open source software Open Journal Systems - OJS. The service is administered by the University Library.

In LnuOpen, the publication gets its own website. Authors have the opportunity to make submissions via the website and the editors can handle all or part of the review and publishing process in the system. By giving each article and conference contribution a unique DOI link, the publications become part of a continuous global research communication. The system enables you to extract statistics, including the number of downloads and visits to the publication.

The University Library will assist you with the following:

  • Setting up the publication's website and workflows
  • Designing Word templates for articles and conferences
  • Persistent DOI links
  • Design of graphic symbol for the publication
  • ISBN and ISSN number

The University Library offers continuous support to the editors, monitors the system's technical development and is responsible for updating to new versions of OJS.

Copyright

In LnuOpen, authors always have copyright to their work. Creative Commons license is strongly recommended.
