HR information session

For our employees to become familiar with regulations, routines and tools that concern personnel issues, the HR department holds a 2-hour information meeting on Zoom, which is offered once a month January-May and August-November. This meeting is a complement to the Welcome-day for new employees that is held every semester.

The contents in the HR information session regard your rights and obligations as an employee at Linnaeus University, e.g.:

  • working hours
  • salary
  • benefits
  • vacation
  • leave of absence
  • policies
  • routines etc.

Participants also receive a demonstration of Primula, the system used for self-registration of e.g. application for leave and travel expenses.

Basically, it is the same content on all the occasions, but the content may vary somewhat, depending on the participants' employment schemes. The sessions held in English are aimed at internationally recruited staff and, therefore, they may also include information about migration agencies, basic information about Swedish authorities etc.

To allow us to tailor the content as much as possible, participants should register in advance. Registration is made via form: Registration to HR information session.

The HR-information session starts at 10.15 on all the dates, according to the schedule below.
