Relocation Lnu - a social arena
Relocation LNU is a network whose primary goal is to offer a social arena for internationally recruited employees at Linnaeus University. The group is open to all employees with an interest in meeting international faculty and staff and/or sharing their experiences about relocating to Kalmar or Växjö.
Within the framework of Relocation LNU, the university offers different types of seminars and other activities, some of which are open also for spouses/partners.
These are some of the seminars that are offered regularly: Working in Sweden, Health and safety at Linnaeus University, How to finance international mobility; Seminar on province Småland; Film Club (held as an add-on to the classes in Swedish); City walks in Kalmar and Växjö; Lucia celebration and Workshop about intercultural communication skills.
You can be part of the network by joining the group Relocation LNU (a social group on the intranet), where you will find information and information about current events. If you have any questions, you can send an e-mail to: relocation@lnu.se
Visas, residence permits and work permits
In order to recruit the most skilled teachers and researchers, Linnaeus University has broadened its recruitment in the international arena. When the university hires employees from other countries, a good advance notice is required, as the employee may need to apply for both a visa and / or work permit to be able to enter Sweden and work.
