On this page, we have collected training courses and films on the subject of safety for employees at Linnaeus University
Here you can find internal training as well as external courses and films from, among others, Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency and the Swedish Defence University that may be of interest to you as an employee at Linnaeus University.
Film: 7 minutes about information security
- The film concerns information security with a focus on research and information security. It has been developed in collaboration between several universities with the aim of increasing security awareness among all of us at the university.

Training: GDPR
- Linnaeus University has developed a training course for all employees who handle personal data in their daily work. The training is given via Moodle.
- Take part in the training in Swedish here or take part in the training in English here
Education: DISA (Digital Information Security Training)
- Digital Information Security Training for All (Disa) is Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency's information security training for users and is offered to all organizations free of charge.
- The training takes about 25 minutes.

Training: Preventing Threats and Violence
- All employees now have access to the online course "Preventing Threats and Violence in Universities and Higher Education Institutions."
- The content is based on interviews with people in different roles at a university, solid experience, the latest research and knowledge from experts in the fields of security and psychology.

- Riskfactors, preparation strategies, and tools to reduce the likelihood of threats or violence
- Collaboration,routines, and ways to continue working with these issues in your workplace

Training: If someone becomes seriously ill or has an accident
- We have a short film about what you as a student can do if someone close to you becomes seriously ill, if there is an accident or something worse.
- Our emergency care teachers show you how to use a defibrillator, how to stop severe bleeding, and how to shelter in place or evacuate if there is a serious act of violence.

Training: "Don't be afraid, be prepared"
- The programme addresses how we at Linnaeus University should act in the event of a so-called PDV event. The abbreviation PDV stands for ongoing lethal violence and is used as a term for different types of attacks in a public environment.

Training: Basic online training in security protection
- The Swedish Defence University has developed a digital course on security protection
- The training concerns parts such as personnel security, information security and physical security
- The training is web-based and is expected to take 45 minutes
