Work environment inspections
Work environment inspections are part of systematic occupational safety and health efforts and represent a way of identifying possible occupational safety and health risks.
The work environment inspections are performed by management and safety representatives. Student safety representatives are also offered the opportunity to participate. The work environment inspections are important for all employees of the University and everyone has the responsibility to call attention to possible health and safety risks.
Work environment inspections must primarily be supplementary and a way of monitoring that the efforts to manage occupational safety and health function as part of normal work.
The results of the work environment inspections must be documented in an action plan for the working environment.
