The Doctoral Programmes Committee
The Doctoral Programmes Committee provides support to the Council for Education and Learning and works on behalf of the Council with focus on postgraduate education.
The Doctoral Programmes Committee was established in 2018. It replaces the previous expert group for postgraduate education, which was established in 2015 to support the university's quality work in postgraduate education.
The Doctoral Programmes Committee's assignment includes within postgraduate education to:
- coordinate and further develop the university's work with educational quality, quality assurance and pedagogical development work
- be preparatory and advisory when revising university-wide policy and regulationsdocuments
- constitute a resource for faculties and university management in connection with quality evaluation work
- work with monitoring and analysis of the area both nationally and internationally.
