Faculty office at FTK
The Faculty Office is headed by Chief Administrative Officer Mari Gerdin, together with Deputy Administrative Officers Anki Lektorp, Bengt Persson, and Linda Wincent.
Approximately 50 staff members at the Faculty Office provide support to the faculty’s various operations in Kalmar and Växjö.
The support functions of the faculty office include:
- Financial support
- Executive support (investigations, management of referrals, case and decision handling within undergraduate education and research)
- Collaboration and internationalisation support
- Technical and pedagogical support: ICT support, IT support, service technicians
- Educational matters: academic and career guidance, and educational administration
Support for the faculty’s operations is also provided by departments within the university administration, such as the Human Resources Department and the Communications Department.

Communication Support at FTK
The faculty has a web group that can assist with minor tasks related to the website. The group can help with:
- Making changes to pages on Lnu.se and the Staff portal.
- Publishing news in the Staff group for Technology, FTK.
- Creating calendar events — in that case, please fill out the calendar event form.
- Acting as a contact point to the Communications Office (KOM) for larger web-related projects.
