In BusinessLab, the School of Business and Economics explores, equips and develops today's and tomorrow's leaders, organisations and society.
BusinessLab consists of the three main areas of work: eucation, research and collaboration with society.
Education
BusinessLab is intended to be a creative learning environment where students are given the opportunity for both theoretical and practical expertise within chosen strategic areas for the School of Business and Economics.
Purpose
- offer students a clear strategic portfolio of courses/applications for increased competitiveness and employability
- strengthen the competitiveness of education and programmes at the School of Business and Economics.
Research
BusinessLab is intended to be a dynamic research environment where the researchers and research students of the School of Business and Economics are given the opportunity to explore ant test new ideas, in connection to the School of Business and Economics' many research projects.
Purpose
- enable researchers and research students to develop a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment where new ideas and initiatives can be explored
- strengthen the School of Business and Economics' research and inspire new initiatives and collaborations.
Collaboration with society
BusinessLab is intended to be an innovative collaborative environment where the School of Business and Economics' students, teachers and researchers together with organisations and companies are given the opportunity to translate science and entrepreneurial drive into new business ideas and sharp business cases.
Purpose
- offer students, teachers, researchers and external actors an entrepreneurial and inspiring environment where business ideas and solutions can be identified, tested and developed
- strengthen and clarify the School of Business and Economics' position and relevance for societal driving force.

In BusinessLab, the ambition is that the furniture contributes to creating an inviting environment, to insprire active learning and interactions.
Most furniture, as well as most technical equipment, is on wheels, and motion is encouraged!
