Doctoral Student Ombudsman
Sometimes there may be problems in the education that you as a doctoral student need support outside the department or faculty to solve. Then there is the opportunity to get help from linnaeus union's student and doctoral student representative. The delegates are a resource for all students and doctoral students, even those who are not members.

Linnaeus Union
Linnaeus Union represents all students and doctoral students at Linnaeus University and works to ensure that your education is of high quality. As a doctoral student, you can influence your education – the voice of students and doctoral students should always be present when important decisions are made. Doctoral Student Barometer
The Doctoral Student Barometer helps Linnaeus University to get a picture of doctoral students' experiences from their education. The Doctoral Student Barometer is conducted every three years and is sent out to all active doctoral students. The result is used to develop the quality of our training and is a tool in our quality assurance work.
Quality work
The quality of doctoral programmes is developed and ensured through ongoing work, regular reconciliations and recurring surveys and educational evaluations. In the different parts of quality assurance work, we collect information about the quality of the training, analyse and assess the need for measures that are finally followed up. Together it develops our training and ensures that they are of high quality.

Quality organization
The Education and Learning Council is responsible for issues relating to educational provision and quality of education.
The Council for Education and Learning shall, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, coordinate the faculty-wide work and support the faculties' work with educational offerings and quality of education.
The Doctoral Education Committee is a preparatory committee that supports the Council for Education and Learning and works on the Council's mission with a focus on doctoral education.
