The KK Foundation's process

Linnaeus University has special processes for certain financiers and nominations.

Internal process of the Knowledge Foundation

The purpose of a clear process is to ensure that Linnaeus University complies with the requirements of the funder and that we submit applications with high quality. It is important to link up with the university's overall vision and strategy and that the application is based on the current knowledge environment.

The responsibility for the applications lies mainly at the department and faculty level. The Dean is responsible for the internal process at the faculty and decides which applications can be submitted. The Vice-Chancellor signs all applications to KKS and needs to be prepared for this.
All applications must be presented in the Research Council, which will get a comprehensive picture of the applications and enable Lnu to have a common attitude towards the foundation in line with our vision.

Grants and Innovation Office (GIO) is responsible for administrative support to the Vice-Chancellor/Research Council, internal communication and coordination, as well as support for researchers/projects when the full application is drawn up.
