Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Implementing MFA is a critical step in improving our overall security strategy. By requiring a second form of verification, in addition to your password, we can effectively prevent data breach attempts and identity theft. It is a simple but powerful measure that significantly increases our protection against external threats.
On Tuesday, June 4 2024, MFA will be activated for university administration users of Microsoft 365 services.
On Tuesday, June 11 2024, MFA will be activated for the rest of the organization.
OneDrive
Moving to OneDrive not only means modernizing our technical environment, but also improving accessibility and security for our staff. OneDrive offers advanced tools for collaboration and security, making it a great platform.
OneDrive also offers built-in backup features that automatically store files both in the cloud and locally on your device. This means that your files are not only secured from unauthorized access, but also remain available to you, even if we were to suffer a network attack or other disruption to the IT system. By ensuring access to your information under all circumstances, we strengthen the continuity of our business and protect our academic and administrative integrity.
