Kalmar

On Kalmar municipality’s website you will find more information on parking places for visitors.

The parking garage at Universitetskajen in Kalmar is monitored by Securitas. Any contesting of parking tickets should be made to Securitas.

Parking in Kalmar

• SEK 10/hour (day. 07.00–18.00)
• SEK 5/hour (night, 18.00–07.00)

Växjö

Parking places in Växjö are marked on the map. Map of Linnaeus University Växjö.

Linnaeus University’s parking places in Växjö are monitored by Aimo Park. Any contesting of parking tickets should be made to Aimo Park.

You pay the fee in one of the following ways:

• Using the parking app (MobilPark) described on the signs, you start, extend and end your parking session, save license plate number for your vehicles, and choose how to pay your invoices. More information below.
• Using the text service (see signage), you start your parking by sending a text, and end it by sending another one. The cost will not be included in your phone bill, instead you will reveice a separate invoice, which means that you can use your service phone. An invoice fee will be added.
• Coin-operated machine is available at P06 Studentstigen.
• Card-operated machine is available at P10 Gulan.

The fee is SEK 2/started hour, SEK 20/24 hours or SEK 500/30 days. You also have the possibility to pay for a period of your choice for SEK 20/24 hours.

Night parking (between 00.00–05.00) is prohibited, regardless of fee paid, on all the university´s parking places.

If you, as an employee, need to park overnight on the campus in Växjö after that, you contact Infocenter to apply for a night parking permit. The permit is usually valid for 1–2 nights. Exceptions can be made for longer periods, in which case a written approval from the immediate manager is required.

For overnight parking, we refer to the car park at Brände udde, Stenladan, the castle parking lot and approx. 30 guest parking lots available at Studentstigen 2-4, PG Veides väg 2,10 and 15, Tuvanäsvägen 2 and 8, and Georg Lückligs väg 10.
