Closing Ceremony master level 2026

The closing ceremony master level is for all students who have completed or are about to complete their 1-year or 2-year master programme at Linnaeus University during the academic year covering the autumn term 2025 and the spring term 2026. The closing ceremony will be held, June 2, in Kalmar and June 4, in Växjö.

An invitation with information concerning registration for the ceremony will be sent to you who have completed or are about to complete your 1-year or 2-year master studies during the academic year autumn25/spring26 in February 2026. The invitation applies both to them studying at site and on a distance, for the first time this year.

More information will sent out to those who will be a part of the ceremony.

2 June, Graduation Ceremonies, Kulturhuset Strömmen, Kalmar

16:00–17:30 – For students from all faculties who have studied in Kalmar.

4 June, Graduation Ceremonies, Växjö Concert Hall

10:00–11:30 – For students who have studied at FHL and FSV.
14:00–16:00 – For students who have studied at FEH, FKH and FTK.

The ceremonies will be live-streamed and can be followed at www.lnu.se/avslutningshogtid.

Information for you who is dean or head of a programme

During the closing ceremony master level, the Dean or Vice Dean holds a speech to his or her students. Subsequently, the head of the programme distributes dean letters (with pin) and a flower to their students.

If you as head of a programme do not have the opportunity to attend the closing ceremony yourself, you need to arrange a replacement who signs up in your place. He or her must announce who they replace to avslutningshogtid@lnu.se
