Closing Ceremony master level 2025

The closing ceremony master level is for all students who have completed or are about to complete their 1-year or 2-year master programme at Linnaeus University during the academic year covering the autumn term 2024 and the spring term 2025. The closing ceremony will be held, May 27, in Växjö and Friday, May 28, in Kalmar.

An invitation with information concerning registration for the ceremony will be sent to you who have completed or are about to complete your 1-year or 2-year master studies during the academic year autumn24/spring25 in February 2025. The invitation applies both to them studying at site and on a distance, for the first time this year.

More information will sent out to those who will be a part of the ceremony.

Information for you who is dean or head of a programme

During the closing ceremony master level, the Dean or Vice Dean holds a speech to his or her students. Subsequently, the head of the programme distributes dean letters (with pin) and a flower to their students.

If you as head of a programme do not have the opportunity to attend the closing ceremony yourself, you need to arrange a replacement who signs up in your place. He or her must announce who they replace to avslutningshogtid@lnu.se
