En dag på universitetet 2022
On 12 October we will, once again, welcome upper secondary school pupils to A day at the university. The day is arranged in collaboration with Kalmarsunds gymnasieförbund. Here you can register your participation and your information sessions for the day.
En dag på universitetet (A day at the university) is an event for Kalmar’s young adults where they will get an insight into university studies and student life. The last time we arranged this day was in 2019 and since then it has been paused due to the pandemic.
Close to 1,000 young adults will visit the university before lunch to meet students, talk to teachers, and listen to interesting lectures. This day is compulsory for the pupils. Each session is 20 minutes long and can be designed as either programme information, a workshop, or a general lecture about studies at the university. The event will take place at Universitetskajen.
The time for the event is 08.30–12.00 and the sessions have the following times:
Session 1: 08.45–09.05
Session 2: 09.15–09.35
Session 3: 09.45–10.05
Session 4: 10.15–10.35
Session 5: 10.45–11.05
Session 6: 11.15–11.35
It would be good if you could register for at least two sessions as this will mean that you have a better opportunity to present your programme, your course, or your subject to more visitors.
Last day to register is 1 September.
Please note that this event is aimed at national students and will be held in Swedish. If your information session needs to be held in English, please notify us at en-dag@lnu.se.
