Skype for business

Skype for business/Lync is a real-time communication tool that can be used for example to send instant messages, have video calls, online meetings, and to see your colleagues’ presence status via your computer, smartphone or tablet.

What's the difference between the regular Skype and Skype for Business?

In brief, the normal Skype is the consumer version of Skype, aimed at the public while the Skype for Business version is the professional one. In practical terms this means that with Skype for Business you don't need to create an account, you just use your normal LNU credentials. It is also well integrated with other software, primarily with Outlook.
