Timetable

The basis for timetables and room bookings for centrally owned rooms are managed by the facilities administration, which creates timetables and book rooms in TimeEdit. Centrally owned rooms are allocated on the existing timetable according to set dates twice per semester. The process for timetable/room booking can be followed on TimeEdit Viewer, or Core for administrative staff with authorisation.

In Viewer, you can change the type of teaching, the teaching staff, remove a booked room and replace it with Zoom, specify location, exam code, URL link, and booking comments on the existing timetable. For other rebookings, contact the facilities administration.

Timetable/room booking preferences

Timetable/room booking submissions are made digitally via TimeEdit Preferences. See link below.

Timetable/room booking request form

Timetable/room booking submissions are made via a room booking form to lokalbokning@lnu.se. See link below. (The form will be phased out for Preferences)

Timetable/room booking Viewer

Timetable/room booking is created in TimeEdit Viewer via the Timetable Booking entrance. See link below.

Timetable information

It is important that both the course code and registration code are included in the timetable submission for students to see their timetable on the student web. If you are missing a course instance/course code and registration code, you can search for them via the link below.

Room booking process

When you order a room on the timetable, you make a seat reservation and indicate the number of seats you need within the desired range, for example, "Seat Reservation 33-41 Växjö". Please note the correct number of students in the Internal comment to ensure the right room. You can also order a specific classroom, for example, "Order of Cu1005".
Note that all italicised items under room named Order or Seat Reservation are rooms that are ordered. This means that the room is only ordered on your timetable booking and is booked by the room booking if it is available. If the session is digital, you specify Zoom instead of seat reservation under room.

Timetable/room bookings via Core/Preferences/Viewer are managed by the facilities administration. Centrally owned rooms are allocated on the timetable according to set dates.

When a room is allocated to a timetable post, it is visible on the student web. Before a room is allocated, the timetable post is an order. If an order is denied, there is no available room according to the preference. The order then needs to be managed by the requester.

If you have questions about room booking/timetable ordering:

Phone: 6140 (0480-44 61 40 if calling externally), weekdays 8–11:30am and 1–3pm, or via self-service. Contact the room booking if you want training in Preferences.
