After the move

House Vita

The sunscreens are controlled by the weather station and cannot be operated manually. The function is currently in need of optimisation, and we are reviewing the control, system, and function in collaboration with the landlord.

Indoor manual blinds/Venetian blinds will be mounted during early autumn in windows with exposure to sunlight during daytime/working hours.

Blackout of classrooms is controlled using an up/down button on the panel by the window.

Lighting

1. A button is located by the door. Turn on the lights by gently pushing the upper half of the button.
2. The lighting is now set to the latest selected scenario.
3. To change the latest scenario and increase lighting: Keep the finger on the upper half of the button until the desired level of lighting is achieved.
4. To dim the light: Keep the finger on the lower half of the button until the chosen level of lighting is achieved.
5. Turn off the lights with a gentle press on the bottom half of the button.
6. If the room is left with the light on, a motion sensor will turn off the lights after a set period of time.
7. In rooms where the light fixtures have drawstrings, the above i.e. active lighting, also applies,  but here you can individually manoeuvre your spot lighting via the drawstring. In all other respects, the above applies.

Whiteboard lighting is controlled by a button next to the whiteboard: On/off/dim.

Classrooms

Lighting is controlled by buttons with four scenarios, labelled on each respective button: On, Off, Normal, and Film, and/or On/Off button. The same principle with active lighting and motion detection.

WC/RWC

Lighting is controlled by motion sensors and turned off after a set period of time.

Corridors and stairwells

Lighting is controlled by motion sensors and turned off after a set period of time.

Ventilation/climate

House Vita contains labs, and these systems are always on with a high throughput. They can be automatically controlled within certain limits.

The offices have needs-controlled ventilation which means that they have one flow for empty rooms, one for occupied rooms, and needs-controlled flow via room temperature. The system also detects the need of cooling. Via Digital Room Panels (DRP), certain temperature adjustments can be made within a set interval. The temperature is currently set to 22 degrees and can be adjusted slightly via the room panels. Empty rooms are set to default temperature after 3 hours. In the night the rooms have a low default flow which is adjusted automatically in occupied rooms.

Doors/Card readers

In order to unlock a card reader to a lecture hall, press the following on the card reader: green mark+card+pin code.
The card reader will then remain unlocked for 4 hours. In case the card reader should be locked before 4 hours have passed, carry out the same maneuver again in order to lock.

Staff can also change the lock mode of Salto readers at offices or meeting rooms. Hold your card for in front of the reader for approximately 5 seconds and the lock mode will change.

On a Salto reader the changed mode will remain until changed.

Lighting

Function lighting in various rooms according to attached document, see below.

Ventilation/climate

All rooms have a min-flow (economy mode), a default flow (occupied), and an override flow. The override flow (interval between default flow and max flow) is engaged if the temperature of a room exceeds the desired value or if the carbon dioxide level gets too high. The desired temperature is set centrally, and the room panel of each respective room can be used to adjust this temperature up or down by two degrees. The radiators are linked to the ventilation to shut down if a room is too hot and turn on if the room is too cold.
