Introduction week at the school of business and economics, August 2017

For most programmes, the term begins on August 28, but in order to get started and to get to know your classmates and teachers a little better, the school of business and economics will have an introduction week, in both Kalmar and Växjö, with special focus on first-cycle programmes and international students:

Kalmar – first-cycle level, starting August 21, second-cycle level August 28

Ljungby – first-cycle level, starting August 29

Växjö – first-cycle levelm starting August 18, second-cycle level August 28

Practical information

Students from EU/EEA as well as Swedish students will have to look for accommodation by themselves. The best alternative is to contact the student union (Linnéstudenterna) and to read the information about how to find accommodation on their website, for Växjö, for Kalmar. Please note that it is hard to find accommodation in Växjö, Kalmar and Ljungby, you are advised to start looking for somewhere to live as early as possible to maximise the chances of finding accommodation. Orientation Weekend for international students

To help you settle into life at Linnaeus University an orientation weekend is run on the weekend before the official term starts; August 24–26 in Växjö and August 24–25 in Kalmar. During the orientation you will get practical and academic information. More information will follow at a later stage.
