Welcome to EDA Autumn Seminars 2019 - Bridging the Gap between Research, Policies and Practice - Opportunities and challenges with accessibility, an international three-day conference on dyslexia and other learning differences, at Linnaeus University on September 27-29.
During the conference, presentations are held on best practice, politics and science on dyslexia and dyscalculia. It is also an opportunity for people to meet and network. The conference is aimed for professionals, people with dyslexia and researchers.
Invited speakers are among others:
- John Rack, Associate Professor, Department of Education and Learning, Linnaeus University: "Aids for writing: progress and opportunities".
- Jakob Åsberg, Associate Professor, Department of Neuroscience and Physiology, University of Gothenburg and Queen Silvia Children's Hospital: "Dyslexia and accessibility: the importance of considering comorbidity".

The European Dyslexia Association is a European non-governmental umbrella organization for national and regional associations for people with dyslexia and other specific learning differences, children's parents, professionals and researchers. The conference is a collaboration between the European Dyslexia Association and the Department of Psychology, Linnaeus University.
