Postponed:UNESCO Day at Linnaeus University

Welcome to a UNESCO Day at Linnaeus University. On this unique day, you will learn more about the work of UNESCO in Sweden. You will meet the Swedish UNESCO Chairs together with representatives of the Swedish National Commission for UNESCO and hear about their current activities and priorities for the future.

The program starts in the morning with a welcome speech by Peter Aronsson, Vice-Chancellor At Linnaeus University. Lena Sommestad, Chairperson of the Swedish National Commission for UNESCO, and the Swedish UNESCO Chairs present their work.

The UNESCO Day is postponed. We will return with a new date for the event. Thank you for your interest!

In the afternoon, two open lectures will take place where the Chairs are given the opportunity to meet colleagues and students in their respective fields. You can find the programme below.

Sign up here. The programme is open to staff and students at Linnaeus University. Participation is free of charge, but signing up is compulsory to the programme in the morning. Sign up no later than March 25. However you do not need to sign up for the open lectures in the afternoon.
