Seminar by Professor Prem Ramburuth from the University of New South Wales, Australia
Professor Prem Ramburuth from the University of New South Wales, Australia will be visiting the Department of Marketing from 19–23 March.
Prem Ramburuth is Professor in International Business in the Business School at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. She has held several leadership positions at UNSW including immediate past President of the Academic Board, Associate Dean Education and Associate Dean Undergraduate Programs in the Business School, Head of the School of Management, and Foundation Director of the Business School's Education Development Centre.
Professor Ramburuth researches and teaches in Cross-Cultural and Diversity Management in Business and Higher Education and has published in high ranking Business and Higher Education journals across these areas. Her more recent research focuses on Emerging Markets and the impact of Education and Training in facilitating economic growth and social development in emerging economies, especially in the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia India, China).
She has been the recipient of several national and international teaching awards for her teaching excellence, her work in the Internationalization of Higher Education and her scholarship in this area. She has an extensive background in Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
