Linnaeus University International Staff Training Week is an event where we invite our partner institutions for a possibility to interact with each other and members of staff at Linnaeus University. Staff training and professional development takes place through various workshops within intercultural communication and the global classroom and through job-shadowing a colleague or two at Linnaeus University.
Linnaeus University 6th International Staff Training Week May 14-18, 2018 focused on Competencies for Inclusiveness within Higher Education. 32 participants from 27 partner institutions in 14 countries participated in a week filled with workshops, meetings and social events.
Here some words from the week:
- Many thanks to the instructors and organizers for a job well done. I enjoyed every moment of it.
- Exchange of experiences, brainstorming, discussions, negotiations, workshops, lecturers, intercultural interactions with other countries was great for me.
- The program was very rich in insights, knowledge sharing and various tools to be implemented, I feel inspired, thank you!
- It was particularly stimulating and interesting to exchange with staff members in Vaxjo and Kalmar.
The dates for 2019 years event are set to May 13th to 17th. Invitations will be sent out to our partner universities at the end of this year and information will be published in due time.
