On May 29, 2020, Linnaeus University will hold its closing ceremonies for all students who complete their 1-year or 2-year master programmes during the academic year 2019/2020.
For students in Kalmar, the ceremony will be held 29 May at Kalmar Theatre.
Kalmar Theatre, 02-04 p.m., all faculties.
More information concerning the programme will come next year.
The closing ceremony master level are broadcasted live
The closing ceremony master level are broadcasted live on the web. This way, your family, friends and relatives can take part of the event even if they do not have the possibility to be present.

Invitation and registration
An invitation with information concerning registration for the ceremony will be sent to you who have completed or are about to complete your 1-year or 2-year master studies during the academic year autumn19/spring20 in February 2020.
In your invitation, you will get a link to the registration. Last day to register is on April 14, 2020.
Nominate to the Students speech
At the closing ceremony in Växjö Concert Hall and Kalmar Theatre respectively, one student will give a valedictorian speech to the other students. Students and teachers are welcome to nominate any student to give this valedictorian speech, as long as the nominated student is registered for the closing ceremony 2020.
The person that is chosen as the Student Speaker by the Student Union and Linnaeus University will receive a certificate and coaching in public speaking.
You nominate to the "Students speech" 2019 here (the link will open in February 2020). Deadline for the nomination is on April 14, 2020.
